Born and raised in Guatemala, Jorge is a multi-lingual and multi-disciplinary artist. He is an eclectic actor, singer, dancer, and engineer, whose work has been seen in multiple countries. Jorge started collecting accolades early in his career winning first place, for two years in a row, at the Latin-American Film Festival “Lo Que Veo.” Ever since, he has starred in theatre productions which include “Moulin Rouge,” “Aladdin,” “The Little Mermaid,” “En Este Pais Espantan,” “Noche Arabe” (Best Actor-Artist of the Year), “El Taller de Santa,” and the national tour of Chiquirrines Club. Jorge has also experienced other sides of the theatre business, making his debut as director and producer with Fantastic Kingdom. Currently based in NYC, he has performed in the Secret Theatre’s production of “Gypsy,” “Cranky Cabaret,” “Beyond the Binary,” and “Compass Rose’s A Chorus Line” in Maryland.

 

Jorge has trained with Artig (Germany), Diego Beares (Argentina), Guillermo Monsanto (Guatemala), and is a graduate of the Musical Theatre Conservatory at AMDA.
